Electronic Arts (EA) has confirmed that FIFA 14 will be powered by the new Ignite engine, but only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game will also be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
EA was a major presence at the Microsoft Xbox One unveiling yesterday.
The company also confirmed that its new upcoming sports games, including NBA Live 14, FIFA 14, Madden 25 and EA Sports UFC, will be available for the Xbox One and be powered by the new Ignite engine.
Among the above games, FIFA 14 is the only one that’s going to be available for the PC.
Rob Hodson, from EA, decided to clear the confusion on whether or not the PC version of FIFA 14 will be powered by the Ignite engine.
His tweet reveals that FIFA 14 will be powered by Ignite only on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the title will still use the current engine.
