Final Night of X Factor Season 3 Auditions: Top 40 Revealed

Final Night of X Factor Season 3 Auditions: Top 40 Revealed

It’s the final night of auditions on Fox’s Season 3 of The X Factor. Just to refresh your memories, the new categories this season include: Boys, Girls, Over 25’s and Groups.

Before the Top 40 was revealed, there was one audition that captured our undivided attention tonight.

Mother of eight Victoria Carriger gave a captivating performance of Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway.”

Simon said that he was not expecting that at all. He explained how he could understand her story from her performance.

Paulina commended Carriger for her raspy voice and explained how she could feel the pain and love she has for her family.

Demi says, “That was so unique. I could feel the pain in your voice.”

Vicotria ended up getting 4 yes’s by the judges!

Once the auditions were over, Simon explained how there would be no boot camp this year. Instead, the judges would pick 10 contestants from each category of Boys, Girls, Over 25’s and Groups.

The Top 40 will then compete in the next round of competition called the “4 chair challenge.”
