First Images From American Sniper Released

Two images have been released for Clint Eastwood’s latest project, American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller.

Clint Eastwood returns to the director’s chair after the critically acclaimed biopic Jersey Boys, based on the hit Broadway show, chronicling the rise and fall of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

American Sniper will mark the director’s second release of 2014.

The two images released give us our first look at Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, in the true story military drama.

Based on the memoir of U.S Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the film recounts his time in military service as the world’s deadliest sniper, known by insurgents as Al-Shaitan (the Devil).

Chris Kyle grew up in Texas, where he learned to shoot while on hunting trips with his father. A champion saddle-bronc rider, he joined the Navy prior to the events on 9/11. Events which would see him, along with many other brave men and women, sent to the front lines of the war on terror.

With a confirmed kill of 150 insurgents, Kyle was a legend and a guardian to the marines he protected with deadly accuracy from positions up-to 2100 yards away.

Receiving a limited release date on Christmas, the film will receive a wide opening January 16th 2015.
