Bread products sold under different brand names, including Kroger and Sara Lee, are being voluntarily recalled by Bimbo Bakeries due to possible glass fragments.
Brands included in the recall are Kroger, Sara Lee, Nature’s Harvest, L’Oven Fresh, Great Value and Bimbo.
The recalled goods were sold in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Three consumers have reported finding glass fragments on the outside of bread, so Bimbo Bakeries USA decided to initiate a voluntary recall.
The glass fragments resulted from a broken light bulb at one of the company’s bakeries.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Consumers can determine if their bread is impacted by the recall by checking Best By Dates, UPC Codes, and Bakery Codes and comparing it to the list below.
Best By Dates are located either on the top third of the bag or lower front while Bakery Codes can be found to the left of Best By Dates.
Consumers can locate the UPC code on the back or bottom of the product’s bag in the lower right corner.

All affected products have been removed from store shelves.
Recalled products can be returned to the store they were purchased at for a full refund.
