T-Mobile, which refers to itself now as the ‘Un-Carrier’, has announced that customers of Simple Choice prepaid and postpaid plans will soon gain unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data in Canada and Mexico at no extra cost their regular bill.
The new ‘Mobile Without Borders’ service will allow T-Mobile Simple Choice customers unlimited access to talk and text, as well as access to their complete data plans, from almost anywhere in Canada and Mexico without any additional charges. This means free calls and texts to any U.S. telephone number, including landlines, while abroad.
Unfortunately for Canadian and Mexican residents, the T-Mobile service can only be utilized by people residing in the U.S., as the Simple Choice plans can only be purchased by U.S. residents. However, for Americans on business or vacation, the service will make communicating with friends and family back home simpler and more affordable than ever.
Beginning July 15h, current Simple Choice customers can enroll in the Mobile Without Borders program for free either online, by phone or by visiting a T-Movile Store. New Simple Choice customers will be automatically enrolled.
