Microsoft has revealed its July freebies for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Xbox One
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition – releasing on July 2nd for Xbox One, Guacamelee is an action platformer inspired by Mexican culture. This edition bundles the original title plus all previously released DLCs.
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood – some may recognize this as last month’s Games with Gold entry. It will continue to be free throughout July.
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood – a puzzle adventure game that sets players on a quest to find their little brother.
Xbox 360
Gotham City Impostors – This multiplayer shooter game puts players into a comic book style world. Inspired by the Batman series and other games like Team Fortress 2, Gotham City Impostors is a cartoon inspired free for all. This title will be available free from July 1st – 15th.
BattleBlock Theater – This side-scrolling action title has been critically acclaimed. It’s both a single player and co-op/competitive multiplayer online experience (1-4 players). BattleBlock Theater will be available free July 16th- 31st.
Like Sony, Microsoft allows players to keep these free games forever as long as you keep the subscription current.
These offers are steals when you consider the price of the service.
Xbox Live Gold is available for a 3 month subscription priced at $24.99 USD . A 1 year subscription costs $59.99 USD.
