The much anticipated remake of the movie “Fright Night” hits theaters tomorrow, August 19. Fright Night joins a growing list of movies pulled from the past to grace the big screen this year. This comedy-horror movie is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Anton Yelchin playing lead role as Charley Brewster, Colin Farrell playing the charming next door neighbour who also happens to be vampire, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, Imogen Poots and Toni Collette.
Fans of the original Fright Night will also be delighted to know that Chris Sarandon, the original next-door-vampire, will be making a cameo appearance – but as an unspecified character. The movie seeks to introduce new fans to a classic movie.
Fright Night remake is about a high school student (Charley Brewster) who has everything going on well for him until an intriguing stranger (Jerry) moves in next door. Things change when Charley notices unusual activity that lead him to conclude that Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. However, he is faced with the challenge of convincing everyone else to a point that he decides to take on the vampire all by himself.
