Frozen Vegetables Recalled, List Revealed, May Contain Glass

Frozen vegetables are being recalled due to possible glass contamination.

Pictsweet Co. of Bells, Tennesse has voluntarily recalled frozen vegetables that are being sold at Kroger and Wal-Mart stores, due to the fact the packages may contain glass inside.

There have been no reports of injuries so far from the potential glass, but the company is advising customers not to consume the recalled vegetables due to the potential for harm involved. Anyone with these vegetables in their possession is advised to return them to the store they purchased them from and receive a full refund.

The recall covers the following vegetables:

Kroger 12 oz Green Peas- UPC 11110 89736  with production codes of 1440BU, 1440BV, 1440BW and 1600BD

Kroger 12 oz Peas and Carrots- UPC 11110 89747 with production codes of 1960BD and 1960BE

Great Value 12 oz Steamable Sweet Peas- UPC 78742 08369 with a best by date of July 20 or July 21, 2012

Great Value 12 oz Steamable Mixed Vegetables- UPC 78742 08026 with a best by date of July 15, 2012
