Fry’s Electronics is having a sale on its tax software. Buy one tax program, and get $1000 worth of free software.
According to their site, frys.com, all you need to do is purchase a qualifying tax program from Fry’s Electronics. Eligible tax programs include the 2010 tax versions of TurboTax Deluxe, TurboTax Premier, TurboTax Basic, TurboTax Home and Business, H&R Block at Home Basic, H&R Block at Home Deluxe, H&R Block at Home Premium, or H&R Block at Home.
Fry’s Electronics then says you qualify for $1000 worth of free programs. They currently list 26 software programs that you can choose from. Titles include iola System Mechanic, Corral Home Suite, Trend Micro Titanium AntiVirus+, AVG Antivirus & Anti-spyware 2011, Nuance PDF Create v.7.0, Winway Resume Deluxe 14, and many more. Most of the programs they list as ‘free’. They list an additional five programs that are discounted, rather than free.
The free programs are free ‘after mail-in rebate’, according to the website. The sale expires on April 15, 2011. Each software product has different rebate forms and procedures, and different time frames for what date the rebate has to be sent in by. Some provide the rebate via check, others with a prepaid credit card.
