Galaxy Note 3 News: Samsung May Move From AMOLED To LCD

A new rumor suggests the Galaxy Note 3 may feature an LCD Display.

SamMobile reports the internal department of Samsung is discussing switching from an AMOLED to an LCD screen.

This may be because LCD works well for styluses, and Samsung may be looking to improve the experience for users who cherish using an S-Pen on the phablet.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was also previously rumored of to come with an LCD display, but now that doesn’t seem to be the case.

An LCD screen on Galaxy Note 3 wouldn’t be a surprise. Samsung has equipped their Galaxy Note 8 tablet (due out in the second quarter of this year) with an LCD screen, and the display technology does work well on larger panels.

Would you like to see an LCD screen on Galaxy Note 3?
