Game By 14 Year Old Overtakes Angry Birds

A 14 year old from Spanish Fork, Utah created the game that has knocked Angry Birds from its top spot on the Apple App Store’s list of best free apps.

Bubble Ball is a physics puzzle game that was created by Robert Nay, eighth grade student and founder of Nay Games. With more than two million downloads in two weeks the free app easily took over the top spot that was once held by popular game Angry Birds.

Bubble Ball was originally launched on December 29. Nay taught himself how to design games using Corona Tools from Ansca Mobile. He tried other ways and they just did not fit right. Though he handles the main game programming, his mother does some designing and the business side of things.
