Gas Prices Expected To Hit $4 A Gallon

Oil prices could reach $100 a barrel in 2011 which has the potential to send gas prices up to $4 a gallon in some areas of the country according to the experts.

The increase, expected to hit no later than summer, could affect the cost of other things such as shipping packages, traveling and even ordering a pizza.

Friday saw the oil prices end the year at $91.38 a barrel which is not far from the predicted $100. Currently the average gas price is $3.072 per gallon.

Experts predict that at least 15 states will see $4 a gallon by Memorial Day which they fear would cause an upset among consumers.
