Golden Globes: Amy Poehler, Tina Fey Reveal Teaser For ‘Sisters’ Movie

At last night’s Golden Globes, comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler revealed the first look at their new movie, Sisters.

Although the teaser released by Universal was less than 20 seconds long, excitement over the new film, to be released in December 2015, is already high–and for good reason.

In addition to the famous comedy duo, Sisters will also star SNL alumna Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, Away We Go) and Santino Fontana (Frozen). The film is directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) and written by Paula Pell (SNL, 30 Rock). Talent aplenty.

In Sisters, Fey and Poehler play–you guessed it!–sisters, who decide to throw one last (likely hilarious) house party before their parents sell their childhood home.

The two were last seen together on the big screen for 2008’s Baby Mama, which earned mediocre reviews from fans and critics.

However, if last night’s performance at the 2015 Golden Globes is a proper reflection of Fey and Poehler’s sustained comedic chemistry, Sisters is sure to please fans and moviegoers alike.

Here’s a look at the official Sisters teaser:
