Head-Butting Big Brother Contestant Bounced

Willie Hantz

It sounds like a joke, but it isn’t.

Big Brother 14 contestant Willie Hantz of Dayton, Texas was kicked off the current season of the reality show for reportedly head-butting a fellow house guest, Joe Arvin, 41, from Schererville, Indiana.

There was no word on Arvin’s condition, though he was not said to be injured in the incident after he reportedly got in Hantz’ way.

Hantz was said to blow his cool over the weekend after his teammates were punished for his boorish behavior, which included tossing pork rinds at Janelle Pierzina, 32, from Michigan.

Hantz indicated he wanted to get thrown off Big Brother, which airs Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. and Thursdays at 9p, all ET. Showtime2, airs a live feed of the Julie-Chen hosted program from the house each night at midnight ET and a 24-hour live feed is available for a fee at real.com

Although Hantz’ “wish” was granted, it came at a price as he forfeited his stipend for being on Big Brother and has to pay for his own travel home. He also won’t appear on any follow-up program of the season.

Hantz, younger brother of Survivor villain Russell Hantz, had a rocky ride this season as he was immediately recognized as a look-alike for his real-life “Big Brother”. Willie quickly won head of household to stay in the competition a week, but as his behavior unraveled so did his chances at the $500,000 prize.
