Amazon.com released its annual Holiday Toy List this week in addition to the beginning of daily Lightning Deals on holiday toys including Amazon exclusives.
From now until mid-December, Amazon will offer limited-time deals up to 50% off on toys from its Holiday Toy list (top picks and exclusives are listed toward the end of this article). The offers are good until expiry of the promotion period or until items sell out.
Current finds from 25% to 50% off include trampolines, an indoor table tennis table, Easy Bake oven, Razor electric scooters and trikes, a Fisher-Price newborn vibrating rocker, Lincoln Logs, and movies including Monster High, Wreck-It Ralph, Despicable Me 2, Planes, The Little Mermaid, My Little Pony, and more.
A sampling of other brands included in Amazon’s holiday toy deals are: Hasbro, Lego, Crayola, Melissa and Doug, Nintendo, Leap Frog, Playskool, Hello Kitty, Playmobil and Barbie.
Amazon’s holiday toy deals feature items for all ages of kids ranging from newborns to teenagers.
The company says it’s offering “more deals on the Holiday Toy List this year than ever before”.
Amazon.com also provides a Holiday Gift Finder that allows shoppers to search for the perfect gift using filters such as age, brand, gender, and interest.
Standard Amazon filter features will still be in place allowing customers to further narrow selections based on price, reviews, and bestsellers.
This year Amazon relied on fans from its Amazon Mom Facebook page to determine which toys would make the All-Star toy list. Ten trendy categories spanning retro, crafts, road trip must-haves, and technology were named to the list:

According to Amazon, “Last holiday season alone Amazon customers purchased more than one toy per second via mobile devices.”
Amazon also welcomes Citi ThankYou point customers to use ThankYou points at checkout to purchase Amazon holiday toys.
