How To Sign Up For An (Almost Free) Razor Nabu Smartband

Are you in the market for a smartwatch or a fitnessband?

Well, you may be lucky enough to try the next big smartband coming soon, the Razor Nubu.

Razer, a company known for gaming hardware and accessories, has announced a beta program for their new smartband.

But there’s a catch.

The beta program will only be available to 500 lucky participants. Those who get picked will have the opportunity to get the Nabu smartband for $1 USD.

Beta testers have to follow instructions, including sending in written reports during the beta. Failure to do this will disqualify users from future Razer beta programs.

What makes Razer’s Nabu different?

Styled like a slim bracelet, the Nabu has all the features of a smartwatch and a fitness tracker combined. Users can check phone notifications, track fitness stats, and even get info from social apps.

The Nabu incorporates two screens for notifications. The first is a public one, meant to be on the top of the wrist. The second is for more private notification and is on the bottom. Similar to other smartbands, the Nabu can vibrate to notify its user.

Although not waterproof, the Nabu will be splash proof.

To sign up for the beta, head over to http://www.razerzone.com/nabu and scroll down until you see the form. Beta units will begin shipping July 10th to those chosen.

Are you a fan enough to be a beta tester?
