Here is some news for Verizon customers who were looking forward to getting their hands on HTC’s latest flagship smartphone: the HTC One.
A tweet from HTC’s Twitter account said the device would not be available on Verizon, but that HTC fans who want to stay with the carrier can always opt for the ‘awesome Droid DNA’.
But then… the tweet was deleted.
Does that mean it was a mistake, or did something change?
Early rumors had suggested that the HTC One could be given a separate name if it arrived on Verizon, but there has not been any confirmation on that.
T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint are confirmed to be carriers. But Verizon…. anyone’s guess at this point.
