HTC One To Launch In US By End Of April, Interest High

The HTC One is set to launch here in the US during the last week of April and interest is high, according to HTC.

Recently, Jason Mackenzie, president of global sales and marketing at HTC, wrote to those who have signed up for the phone through HTC’s trade-up program.

In his email, he said: “We are seeing our strongest initial response for any smartphone we’ve ever designed with several hundred thousand people in the U.S pre-registering to purchase the new HTC One.”

Last week, HTC issued a statement saying “The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April.”

Originally the HTC One was to launch in March, but that was delayed due to component shortages.

Galaxy S4, HTC One’s rival in Android genre, doesn’t have a U.S release date yet either.

Are you waiting for the HTC One? What new feature are you most looking forward too?
