The first official teaser trailer for Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 was released. The video is 1 minute long but it does reintroduce Jennifer Lawrence as the Katniss character. The previous teasers did not include her.
The teaser trailer was initially debuted at Comic-Con. It was then uploaded to YouTube.
The first part of the Mockingjay movie will show a new Peeta character (Josh Hutcherson). He was captured in the last part of the movie and Snow brainwashed him in order to hate Katniss. This will create a dynamic that many movie fans are interested in.
Mockingjay Part 1 picks up where Hunger Games Catching Fire left off.
The movie will be released on November 21st and shows Katniss’ new home in District 13. District 12 was destroyed after the rebellion against the Capitol.
Both Mockingjay movies, Part 1 and Part 2, will feature Philip Seymour Hoffman, as almost all his scenes were already finished before his death in February 2104.
Mockingjay Part 2 is scheduled for release in November 2015.
