Impressive In-game Footage – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Shown at the very end of Sony’s E3 conference, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End had an impressive showing.

Although short, the trailer seemed to be an impressive CGI animation. It has been revealed that the trailer was in-engine footage, captured completely from a Playstation 4. This is impressive!

Naughty Dog, the studio behind the exclusive series, has posted a higher quality version of the trailer, found here.

The studio does note, “A powerful PC and a high speed internet connection is required to stream video at 1080p and 60fps – otherwise you may experience buffering or video playback issues. If you consistently encounter issues, you can view lower quality versions on Youtube.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set for release in 2015, but there’s speculation that it might be delayed until 2016.
