Interstellar Teaser Trailer Has Arrived! [Video]

The highly-anticipated teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s space flick Interstellar debuted online late last week.

Interstellar is an upcoming thriller about a team of researchers exploring human space travel following the discovery of a wormhole.

Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, and John Lithgow will star in the upcoming film.

The teaser trailer features a voiceover by McConaughey that discusses accomplishments made by the human race as a result of ambition and motivation.

“We’ve always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible and we count these moments, these moments when we dared to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known — we count these moments as our proudest achievements. But, we lost all that. Perhaps we have just forgotten that we are still pioneers.”

The clip ends with McConaughey driving away from what appears to be an abandoned farm, as two people hold hands and watch a rocket rise into the sky.

Nolan is the director behind the epic Dark Knight trilogy.

Other movies containing his signature-style of filming include Inception and The Prestige.

Interstellar is scheduled to open in theaters November 7, 2014.
