There have been a few new clues discovered in the shooting death of Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen, but investigators still do not have many leads to go on.
Police admit that they do not have any motives, suspects or even persons of interest in the shooting even after several days.
Ronni Chasen, best known for representing top movie stars and promoting the top Hollywood films, was driving home from a movie premier party early Tuesday morning when she was gunned down. The news of her death shocked Hollywood.
Investigators believe that she was shot through her passenger window as she went to make a left turn. Chasen was shot five times in the chest before her car slammed into a nearby light pole. It is believed the bullets were fired from another car at a high angle, possible an SUV.
Chasen’s funeral is set for Sunday. The movie studios have banded together to hold a special ceremony to honor the publicist.
