iPhone 5C Price War Erupts – Drops To Cheapest Price Yet

Shoppers interested in buying the iPhone 5C can now take advantage of a new price cut offered by Walmart.

Initially the retailer sold the smartphone for $79, just as Target does, but has now dropped the price to $45.

Walmart presents the price cut for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon clients that agree to a 2 year contract extension.

Radio Shack and Best Buy currently offer the iPhone 5C for $99 with the inclusion of a $50 gift card.

Apple sells the iPhone 5C for $99.

In addition, Walmart also offers a trade-in program that offers up to $300 for the old smartphone hardware that is traded. This option is better suited for people that want to buy the iPhone 5S.

If you are looking for an unlocked iPhone 5C, Amazon currently sells the 16GB version for $589.99.

The current price tags are seen by specialists as signs that the iPhone 5C struggles in term of sales. Apple did not comment on this.

What do you think? Would you take advantage of the Walmart deal or are you more interested in the iPhone 5S?
