The homeless man who became an internet sensation only days after his YouTube video was posted is headed for rehab according to representatives for the Dr. Phil show.
Following an altercation with his daughter that involved the police, Ted Williams appeared on the Dr. Phil show where the subject of his continued drinking arose.
After a discussion with Dr. Phil McGraw, the ‘man with the golden voice’ agreed to enter a private rehabilitation center.
Williams rose to fame virtually overnight when the Columbus Dispatch posted a video of him using his vocal talents to try and earn money on the streets. Since then he has appeared on numerous talk shows and been offered several promising jobs in voice work.
