iTunes Brings Back Free Music, TV Episodes

Just weeks after iTunes dropped its Single of the Week, it has added a “Free on iTunes” section to its store.

Macworld is reporting that the new songs and TV episodes appear to be available in the U.S. only.

Among the 14 songs are “Beautiful Day” by Joshua Radin and featuring Sheryl Crow, “Hurricane” by Lifehouse, “Kings and Queens” by Brooke Fraser,” and “I Feel Everything” by Waters.

TV episodes range from pilots of Backstorm and Hindsight to several reality shows including Duff Till Dawn and King of the Nerds to 12 Monkeys and The Three Musketeers.

How long the freebies will last and when new ones will be added is just speculation at the moment, as is how Apple’s acquisition of Beats Music will affect its free music offerings.
