Jane Carrey, the only daughter of actor Jim Carrey, has announced her decision to divorce husband Alex Santana after only one year of marriage.
Carrey is the lead woman in the Jane Carrey Band and Santana sings for the rock band Blood Money. The couple wed in November of 2009 and had their only child, Jackson Riley, in February.
Marleah Leslie, spokesperson for Jim Carrey, said that the couple does intend to remain friends and to continue to be devoted parents to their child.
The split comes only a few months after father Jim called it quits with longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy.
