It is now common knowledge that Deena Nicole Cortese joined the cast of Jersey Shore for season 3, but only of the housemates was aware of her impending arrival.
MTV confirmed that Jersey Shore castmates were in shock when they discovered that Snooki’s best friend would be residing with them for the new season.
The season 3 premier showcases the first meeting between Deena Nicole Cortese and her new roommates- The Situation, Pauly D, Vinny, Ronnie, Sammi and JWoWW. Cortese had become familiar with the casts’ personalities from watching the show, but they had no clue what to expect of her. This caused an immediate explosive fight on the first night.
Cortese actually submitted an audition tape in 2009. She wasn’t chosen by the judges until this year where she will replace Angelina.
