JETBeam recently launched their digital display LED flashlight which, according to the company, is the world’s first.
All four models in the Digital Display series are powered by CREE LED’s and feature a patented digital display indicating brightness level and remaining power. The JETBeam helps conserve battery strength by giving the user a visual indication when it’s time to switch to a lower light setting.
Output of the JETBeam Digital Display LED flashlight models varies from 160 to 500 lumens of visible light. Each one has three settings ranging from about 5% to 30% power up to maximum luminosity, plus a strobe mode. The flashlights run off of ‘AA’, CR123 or 18650 batteries depending on the model. Efficient battery usage results in run times of up to 60 hours based on model and lighting level.
Flashlights in the JETBeam DD series are made from an aerospace grade aluminum alloy and stainless steel with a HA III Military grade hard anodized anti-reflective coating. They’re waterproof and certified to IPX-8 standards. A 180 degree rotating belt clip mounted on the end allows for easy attachment.
