Kings Of Leon’s Tour Canceled, Frontman Urged To Enter Rehab {Video}

The Tennessee band Kings of Leon has recently cancelled their US tour because the lead singer, Caleb Followill’s drinking habits.

On August 1st, the band reported on their website that the tour would be cancelled due to exhaustion after Followill walked off stage at the Dallas show. After playing four songs, Caleb Followill told the crowd that he was going to go throw up, drink a beer, and “come back out and play three more songs.”

Kings of Leon also announced on their website that they would not be rescheduling the shows due to conflicts with other tour dates; but that tickets will be refunded. The band has changed the dates of their international tour, and will be back on September 28th in Vancouver, British Columbia. The show was supposed to be on September 14th.

Although the band’s website says that the tour was cancelled because of exhaustion; Kings of Leon’s bassist and Caleb’s brother has tweeted: “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words,” followed by: “I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

Sources have also told US Weekly that Caleb Followill’s Band mates are trying to urge him to go to rehab for his excessive drinking.

Followill is seen on the following video which is being filmed by TMZ.
