Even though the new music video for Lady Gaga’s song “Yoü And I” was meant to to premiere on Thursday (August 18) during “MTV First: Lady Gaga,” it seems that it has been released a few days early!
Gaga’s “Yoü and I” music video was originally meant to premiere at 7:49 p.m. ET on MTV and Logo, and at 8 p.m. on mtvU, MTV Hits and Tr3s. It seems as if the “Queen of Pop” got a little too excited on Twitter and leaked the video before its official premiere date.
“Yoü and I” is Gaga’s fourth video off of her chart-topping album, “Born This Way.” “Yoü and I” features her male alter-ego: Jo Calderone, mermaids, unbelievable fashion (per usual), and of course a few deliciously risque moments.
The music video for “Yoü and I” was filmed in Nebraska last month, and is about taking a journey to win back the one you love. “The idea that when you’re away from someone you love, it’s torture,” Gaga said. “I knew I wanted the video to be about me sprinting back and walking hundreds of thousands of miles to get him back.”
