But in most cases it will cost you.
There is one retailer offering – free – two-day shipping… but you have to be a member.
Yep, Amazon Prime members get free two-day shipping on most items sold by Amazon.
Amazon Prime membership costs $79 per year. The company does offer a free one-month trial before the subscription kicks in.
Two-day shipping is available to non-members for a fee. Amazon lists December 22 as the last day to order for Christmas Eve delivery with two-day shipping. On December 23 they offer one-day shipping for delivery on Christmas Eve. They also offer Local Express Delivery by Christmas Day on orders placed Christmas Eve.
Amazon’s Local Express Delivery service is available in the following locations: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, New York City (and parts of New Jersey), Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Bernardino Area, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. In most cases, orders have to be placed early Christmas Eve to be delivered that day. The individual deadlines are available here.
Walmart is offering Rush Shipping on select items purchased through their website by 11 PM Pacific time December 22 for delivery by Christmas.
Best Buy offers express shipping for delivery by Christmas for items ordered by December 22 before 1 PM Eastern time.
Sears and Kmart offers premium shipping for delivery by Christmas on orders placed by 4 PM Central Time on December 23.
Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us offers express shipping for arrival by Christmas on select items ordered by 12 PM Eastern time December 23.
Each of the above apply to the lower 48 states only and come with various terms and conditions.
