Lego: Marvel Super Heroes is set for an October 22 release date and preorders are now being taken by a number of retailers.
Each retailer is offering shoppers different preorder bonuses in exchange for their pre-release commitment to buy the game.
Walmart is offering an “Iron Patriot” mini figurine. They don’t say just how “mini” the figurine is, nor do they provide any pictures of it.
Amazon has a bit more of a substantial preorder bonus – a $10 Amazon credit that can be applied to the purchase of items shipped and sold by Amazon.com.
They do note there are exclusions, like that it can be applied to kindle books gift cards or apps.
Target… no preorder bonuses mentioned on their site.
GameStop is offering a Lego Spiderman keychain as a preorder bonus. They note that it’s only while supplies last and say that quantities are extremely limited.
GameStop PowerUp Rewards members that preorder Lego Marvel Super Heroes for the PS3 or X360 through GameStop also receive a code to download GameStop’s exclusive Super–Pack with extra characters, vehicles and races.
GameStop PowerUp Rewards is free to join, according to their site, but shoppers can only sign up at a local GameStop store. There’s not a way to sign up online.
Best Buy also has the game available, but they do not mentioned any preorder bonuses on their site.
Pricing for Lego Marvel Super Heroes is pretty consistent across the board, though not all retailers are offering all the different versions.
For the yet to be released Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the price is pegged at just under $60.
For the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, it’s just under $50.
For the Nintendo 3DS it’s just under $40.
For the PC it’s just under $30, and for the Nintendo DS it’s just under $20.
