Lindsay Lohan will be arraigned Wednesday on a grand theft charge for allegedly stealing a necklace.
Lohan allegedly walked out of a jewelry store in January with the necklace valued at $2,500. The necklace was given to the police just prior to the execution of a search warrant last week on Lohan’s home.
It is expected that at her arraignment she will be formally charged with the felony grand theft. The charges come just weeks after being released from rehab and less than three weeks from the court date when it was expected that a judge would be releasing her from supervised probation. Lohan spent three months in drug rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic.
Her lawyer is adamantly denying the charges and said the issue will be fought in court and not the press. The arraignment is set for 1:30 pm.
