Whether you are headed to the stores to hit the After Christmas Sales, or bringing a gift in for an exchange, December 26 promises to be a busy day at retailers.
Many of them are extending hours for the day after Christmas. It’s always a good idea to check your local store’s hours, but as a general guideline, these opening times have been gathered from around the net.
Most WalMart stores are set to open at 6 am on Sunday, according to their site.
Best Buy’s are reported to be opening at 7 am as well.
Kohl’s will be opening before dawn, 5 am on Sunday.
Most Target stores are opening at 7 am.
J.C. Penneys are reported to be opening at 7 am.
IKEA stores are listed as opening at 10 am.
According to the National Retail Federation, 15% of retailers holiday sales are made during the week after Christmas, and the day after Christmas is one of the heaviest shopping traffic days of the year. Consumers are returning item, exchanging items, spending money and using gift cards that they received for Christmas.
