Luke Bryan Sweeps ACMA | Best New Artist: Lauren Alaina | Full List

The 2012 American Country Music Awards, hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth, took place on Monday night, Dec 10, in Las Vegas. It aired live on Fox.

The fan-based award show featured performances by a plethora of country music artists, some including, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, and Little Big Town.

Luke Bryan swept the award show winning nine awards, which included album of the year for “Tailgates and Tanlines,” artist of the year, and male artist of the year.

American Idol Alum Lauren Alaina won favorite new artist. Alania declared she couldn’t breathe while accepting the award and made sure to thank her fans and American Idol for their support.
