Mad Men Season 7 Trailer – Episode 1: Peace [Video]

AMC‘s smash-hit, Mad Men,  enters it seventh and final season this Sunday, April 13, but fans can get an early look right here.  The trailer is a 30 second clip of  episode 1, titled ‘Peace’.

Based on the episode’s description, ‘Peace’ seems to be eluding most of the characters.

The episode picks up where season 6 ended.  We get a idea of  how Don (Jon Ham), who was placed on leave at work for admitting his life was one big lie, is doing.  It will reveal if his time off  helped him repair his relationship with his daughter Sally (Kiernan Shipka).

We will see how Peggy (Elisabeth Moss), who has become a force in the ruthless ad-agency world, but has destroyed her personal life in the process, is holing up.

It will also feature Joan (Christina Hendricks) who is in a male-dominated world she never thought she’d be allowed into.

According to the show’s creator Matt Weiner, this last season will be based more in L.A. now that outside forces have receded.

This season will be the show’s last and will air over the next two years, with 7 episodes airing now and 7 more airing next spring.

Season 7 of Mad Men kicks off this Sunday, April 13 at 10 P.M. (EST) on AMC.
