In order to promote next week’s DVD/Blu-ray release of the 2013 summer blockbuster Man of Steel, Warner Bros. has unveiled a new website.
The site is LearnAboutKrypton.com.
Learn About Krypton provides detailed information about Superman’s home planet, Krypton, and the lifestyle of its former inhabitants.
The website focuses on research that has been conducted regarding the planet’s culture, aviation, and weaponry styles.
While the new viral marketing website aims to provide us with answers about Krypton, the question still remains as to whether or not the DVD/Blu-ray release will give viewers any hints about the film’s highly anticipated sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters July 2015.
Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Russell Crowe.
The movie will be available November 12, 2013 as a Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD 2-disc Special Edition, and a 3D Limited Collector’s Edition.
Additional release dates for viewing include:
• Redbox (Available December 10, 2013)
• Netflix (Available December 10, 2013)
• Blockbuster (Available November 12, 2013)
• Google Play (Available November 12, 2013)
