Marcus Jordan followed in his father, Michael Jordan’s, footsteps on the basketball court Tuesday night when he rose above the opponents and dunked the ball like a pro.
The younger Jordan, a guard at Central Florida, began the play with an interception of a pass during the second half of the game. He then proceeded to soar above the other team and slam the ball in a way that left fans wondering just which Jordan they were watching play.
The Knights went on to win the game with a score of 85-58 over their in-state rival Stetson. The team is currently ranked as the number 16 scoring team in the nation in part due to Jordan’s consistent scoring.
It is no surprise to fans that Marcus plays well. In high school he led Whitney Young High in Chicago to an Illinois State 4A Championship. Since playing for UCF he has scored double digits in every game he has played.
