I have noticed more clients asking for natural and chemical free sunscreen with broad spectrum.
There are so many sunscreens on the market these days. In this post we will be taking a look at sunscreens from a company called MDSolarSciences.
MDSolarSciences’ products are developed and approved by dermatologists, according to the company.
They use Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, which are natural and mineral based sunscreens. It has broad spectrum, which means it will protect you from both UVA and UVB rays.
In actual use, their sunscreen has a very light, silky feel that does not clog the pores. This is ideal for acne and rosacea prone skins.
In addition, it is hypo allergenic, gluten free, PABA, paraben and fragrance free, and they don’t do animal testing. Their Mineral Créme Broad Spectrum Sunscreen (SPF 50) and Mineral Lotion Broad Spectrum Sunscreen (SPF 50) are both rated 1 (low hazard) for ingredient safety by the Environmental Working Group.
MDSolarSciences carries a small variety of products including a $30 sunscreen with a tinted Spf 30 for the face $30, a $34 SPF 50 lotion and $30 SPF 50 crème , an $18 SPF 40 Stick , and a $19 SPF 40 Spray.
All of their products can be used on infants to adults.
