Meet Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models At Fan Fest 2015; It’s Free!

Sports Illustrated’s famed Swimsuit issue for 2015 will available Monday, February 9 with a behind-the-scenes TV series airing February 15 through February 18.

In addition, lucky fans in two cities have a chance to meet some of the swimsuit models in Sports Illustrated’s first-ever Swimsuit Fan Festival.

New York City and Nashville will play host to Swimcity and Swimville, respectively.

Fans are encouraged to bring magazines to have autographed by the models where music, live interviews, showcases and other fan-friendly events will be taking place. Swimsuit issues will also be available for sale on site during the autograph sessions.

Best of all, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fan Festivals are free and open to the public.

New York City’s Swimcity takes place February 9 and 10 from 11am to 6 pm each day at Herald Square, Broadway between 34th and 35th streets. An area around Herald Square will be tented for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Fan Festival event.

Nashville’s Nashville’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fan Festival will also have food trucks on site plus plenty of music.

The magazine announced this week that 24-year-old model Hannah Davis is making her first appearance on the Swimsuit issue cover. This is her third appearance in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit will be available on tablets, mobile, newsstands, and SI.com/Swimsuit, Monday, February 9.

A partial list of rookies appearing in SI’s 2015 swimsuit issue include models Erin Heatherton, Solveig Mø​rk Hansen, Rose Bertram, Ashley Smith, Kelly Rohrbach, and Robyn Lawley.

Fans who can’t make it to the Sports Illustrated Fan Festival, but would like to see more of SI’s swimsuit models, can watch a five-part television series dedicated to letting viewers get a glimpse at how the special edition is made, learn more about the models, and watch a behind-the-scenes story unfold.

“SI: The Making of Swimsuit 2015”  begins on the Travel Channel Sunday, February 15 at 9:00pm ET/PT and airs every night through Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

The series is part of The Travel Channel’s “Beach Week” and SI swimsuit model Nina Agdal will be host for the multi-platform swimsuit show.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 cover was shot at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee and reflects this year’s “Made in the USA” theme. In addition to beautiful women, America’s beautiful landscapes are celebrated with Route 66, Hawaii, and Yellowstone Park among the iconic locations pictured.
