Hideo Kojima has apparently made it official that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the latest in the highly popular video game series, will be making its way to the PC.
The title has been available since early 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
We say “apparently made it official” because the outing happened without much fanfare. On the most recent episode of Hideradio (Japanese) Hideo said the game would be coming out on PC. The launch was later confirmed by Creative Producer JP Kellams in a Tweet.
No pricing information or release date were mentioned.
We expect more to be revealed soon, perhaps there will even be a somewhat more official announcement.
Metal Great Rising: Revengeance features new gameplay compared to the previous entries in the series. The game was made by the same studio that brought us Bayonetta, Platinum Games. Raiden is the main character instead of Snake, who is featured on previous titles.
The game is currently available on Amazon for Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as several other local video game retailers and resellers.
