Konami, the studio behind the Metal Gear series, has released an impressive 30 minute demo of The Phantom Pain.

The video showcases the jaw-dropping scale of the open world title.

The game takes place after the events of the recently released prologue, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and before the rest in the series.

Players will take on the role of Snake and progress through missions based in the expansive open world.

The e3 2014 cinematic trailer found here and the 30 minute gameplay demo here.

No release date or window is set, but gamers can expect the title sometime in 2015.

While waiting for The Phantom Pain, you can pick up Ground Zeroes, available today, on both last and current gen systems.

Be wary that all Metal Gear games have an “M” rating, meant for those 17 years or older.
