NBA Champions LA Lakers were humiliated at home by Milwaukee Bucks, losing the game 98 to 79. This came at a very good time for the LA team as they were on a streak of 5 out of 6 victories on the road.
The Lakers failed to maintain consistency and to make things even worse, Milwaukee star Brandon Jennings was also injured and could not play.
The game saw Earl Boykins as the top scorer with 22 points, closely followed by John Salmons with 20. Milwaukee Bucks played very well and did not show much weakness. Kobe Bryant did not manage to score much and was left at just 21 points because of a very good defense.
Milwaukee now marks the start of a comeback. Their previous 3 games ended in a loss and all the spectators were left stunned when they started the game against LA with a very strong showing.
This loss might have a big impact on the Lakers as their next game is against Miami Heat and LeBron James is currently on fire. The Bucks are going to square off against Sacramento Kings.
