Minecraft Comes To WiiU December 17th Packed With Features

Christmas is coming early for gamer because Mojang has just announced that Minecraft is coming to the Nintendo WiiU system starting December 17.

Mojang, in a message on their website, said that  the game will cost around $29.99 and will be available to download in the Nintendo eShop, bundled with 6 of the games most popular add-on packs.

The add-on packs are as follows:  Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack, Natural Texture Pack, City Texture Pack, Fantasy Texture Pack, and a Festive Mash-up Pack for the holidays.

In addition, they will also release other fun packs like  Star Wars, The Simpsons, Skyrim,  and Dr Who and more.

Just like with other platforms, gamers can expect even more packs and additional features to be added in the months to come, as well as free updates to the game.

Perhaps the most intriguing note in all of this is that in the official statement from Mojang and Nintendo it says the 2 companies are working on future texture packs- which in all likelihood means Mario building blocks are about to become a reality.

What do you think about Minecraft coming to the WiiU system?
