MLB Playoff | Game 1: Rays vs. Rangers: Final Score & Highlights

On Friday, Sept. 30, the Texas Rangers played again the Tampa Bay Rays in the first game of the American League Division Series.

In the top of the second inning, the Rays scored three times with Damon, Zobrist and Shoppach (Tampa Bay 3-0 Texas).

In the top of the third, the Rays scored three more times with Shoppach, Longoria, and Zobrist (Tampa Bay 6-0 Texas).

During the top of the fifth inning, Shoppach homered to left, allowing both Damon and himself to score (Tampa Bay 8-0 Texas).

In the top of the ninth, Damon hit an infield single to the shortstop allowing Upton to score (Tampa Bay 9-0 Texas).

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Texas Rangers by a strong 9-0.

The Rays won all five games against the Rangers in the 2010 postseason.

In the regular season, the Rays currently have 91 wins and 71 losses (AL West champion) while the Rangers have 96 wins and 66 losses (AL wild card).

Game 2 between the Rays and Rangers will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m. on TNT.
