MOBA Game “Infinite Crisis” Pits Superheroes | Releases This Summer

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have announced Infinite Crisis, a mutliplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Turbine.

Based on the 2005 comic cross-over event, the game will collide 52 universes of the DC multiverse, and different versions of classic superheroes are going to face off each others.

The roster of the game so far includes: Nightmare Batman, Gaslight Catwoman, Gaslight Batman, Gaslight Joker, Doomsday, The Flash, Green Lantern, Poison Ivy  Shazam (aka Captain Marvel), The joker, Wonder Woman and Zatanna.

The characters will come with one passive skill, and four active abilities.  The class type will also fit the traditional MOBA with Assassin, Bruiser, Marksman, Blaster, Support and Enforcer.

Turbine also states that the game will features fast-paced action and contains an unfolding story line developed in partnership with DC Entertainment.

The game will be released in summer 2013 for PC, and there are plans to release the game on next-gen consoles as well.
