The MTV Movie Awards airs this Sunday, April 12 at 9 P.M. (EST) to honor the best in film.
This year the show is being hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien an takes place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The show will air LIVE on MTV and will also be streaming LIVE online at MTV.com.
You can catch the pre-show, hosted by Zendaya, Tyler Posey,Christina Garibaldi and Josh Horowitz at 8:30 P.M. (EST).
The pre-show will feature red-carpet interviews and fashion critiques with designer Rachel Antonoff.
This years show promises to be jam-packed with the biggest stars and some can’t miss moments.
One expected highlight of the show is the performance of Eminem and Rihanna, who will be singing their smash hit, “Monster’.
The tribute to the late Paul Walker, who died in November in a car crash at the age of 40, also promises to be a special highlight.
In addition, there are over 40 celebrities scheduled to present awards, including: Adam Levine, Amanda Seyfried, Cameron Diaz, Channing Tatum, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong’O, Mark Wahlberg, Megan Fox, Nicki Minaj, Johnny Depp, Kate Upton and more.
New movie trailers for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past will be revealed during the show.
The MTV Movie Awards are known for being a little unconventional: in addition to awards for best actor, actress and film there are also awards for unique categories, like best kiss and best fight.
