A special edition of ‘NBA 2K16″ is set to hit stores on September 29, 2016, and for the 3rd time “His Airness”, living legend Michael Jordan will grace the cover.
While the regular “2K16” will have 3 different covers (among them MVP Stephen Curry), this special edition will feature Jordan only and comes with lots of extras for gamers, including early access and special Jordan memorabilia.
If you pre-order the game, which is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox and PC’s you will receive it on September 25, 4 days before everyone else.
In addition, those who pre-order will receive the following extras with their game:
·A Michael Jordan “NBA 2K16” poster,
·A Jordan Fathead wall cling.
·In-game bonuses including the digital Jordan shoes, the digital Jordan T-shirt, and the digital Jordan jersey for MyPLAYER to go with 30,000 virtual currency, MyTEAM VIP+, three Emerald packs and a new Special Edition Exclusive Moments Card.
Fans can also pre-order the regular edition for early access, minus the extras.
According to reports 2K sports put Jordan on the cover to honor his Hall of Fame legacy and give fans even more options to customize their in-game experience
The game is available for pre-order at Game Stop, Best Buy, Amazon, Target and other retailers for $79.99.
