Yesterday it was announced that NeNe Leakes, from Real Houswewives of Atlanta, would not be returning for the upcoming eighth season.
Today it was announced that the star would be teaming up with the famous Betty White for a variety show.
The news broke from Leakes herself on her blog. The show will be broadcast on ABC and will star Betty White, Anthony Anderson, Jalen Rose. Leakes wrote on her blog “when one door closes, another door opens!!!! Your girl is returning to primetime network TV…”
While the show is going to be on ABC, not much else is known about the show or its content. Leakes did however tell People.com that the show was going to be really funny and full of her famous one liners.
Although Leakes will not be returning to Housewives for the upcoming season, she says “I’m not staying gone forever. I’ll probably pop up and play with those girls every now and then.”
