Netflix Windows 8 App Updated With Full-Screen 720p Support

There’s good news for those who stream Netflix Content on their Windows 8 Phone.

Netflix has recently released a minor update for its phone app on the Windows Phone 8 which brings full-screen support for video playback at 720p.

The update is also going to bring improvements to the picture quality for devices with high-res displays, such as the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X.

The black bars that appeared in the old version of the app have also been removed by the update.

Netflix app is a cost free download on Windows Phone Store.

Those who haven’t used the app will be required to register for an account before they can use it.

There’s also good news for fans of Arrested Development, as Netflix announced the fourth season will be starting on May 26th at 12:01 a.m. PT.

15 new episodes will feature in the new season, and all of them will be posted to Netflix on the same day.
